This 7-week course, based on the best-selling book of the same name, has been independently verified as highly effective in raising 'self-esteem', 'family coping' and 'quality of life' levels, as well as reducing stress and depression levels.
What do past participants think of the course?
I really enjoyed the HTT course and so did my husband who attended a session while I was ill. Lindsay is an excellent teacher and very skilled at creating a safe, non-judgemental space where everyone can learn at their own pace and find solutions through discussions and reflection rather than being told what to do.

I didn't have any specific reasons to attend the course but I had been to previous workshops with Lindsay and learnt loads so thought the same would probably happen here too. I wasn’t wrong! I now feel better equipped to communicate effectively with my children. I also got to make some new friends and enjoy some much needed time out of the house, minus kids!

The course will run on Wednesday evenings 8pm-10pm @ The Snug near Sheffield Train Station.
It is suitable for the parents and carers of children 3 to 18 years old, as well as professionals who work with young people (nursery workers, teachers, etc.)
Non-mobile babies are welcome to attend with you.
(Inter)nationally, this course often costs upwards of £270 per person. Fortunately, the How to Talk organisation have given me permission to print the course materials here in the UK instead of shipping them over from the States. Sheffield Sling Surgery are also letting us use the Snug for a very modest price so I'm able to pass the savings on to you. Therefore, the course only costs £99 per person including all materials.
